Dozens of tractor-trailers and other vehicles were destroyed in a massive fire at a business in Opa-locka Monday.

Thick black smoke could be seen for miles coming from the scene at the parking lot of the American Fruits and Produce facility at Northwest 135th Street and Northwest 42nd Avenue.

Footage showed multiple tractor-trailers and other vehicles on fire as Miami-Dade firefighters doused them with water.
Officials said only vehicles were on fire and the fire did not spread to any nearby buildings. No injuries were reported.

Firefighters were able to get the fire under control by around 5:30 p.m.
The fire had the off-ramp at the Gratigny Parkway eastbound closed at the Le Jeune-Douglas Connector.

No other information was immediately known.
