If you seen any algal blooms now you can report them to the state.
The Florida Department of Environmental Protection has launched a toll-free Bloom Reporting Hotline and has also created an online formto report the blooms.
The hotline number is 1-855-305-3903.
Tips will be sent to the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, the Florida Department of Health and the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.
The state has also created a web page to keep residents and visitors up to date on the algae crisis.
