(WESH) Two people are dead after a plane crash during a movie shoot in Summerfield, Florida.
Marion County fire officials said the finale of a low-budget zombie movie was being filmed at the scene and that "lots of extras" were nearby at the time of the crash.
"It could've been much worse, because if it came down where all those people were it could've been very tragic," said neighbor Janet Crandall.
According to officials, the passenger, 70-year-old Joseph Sardinas, of The Villages, was filming the pilot, 65-year-old Dennis Monroe, of Summerfield, during the flight.
