Police have made an arrest in the targeted attack of a woman in Boynton Beach on April 5.

The victim, Curtisia Courtney Smith, was shot several times at close range in the front of Z Food Meat Market at 1005 N. Seacrest Boulevard.

The U.S. Marshals South Florida Fugitive Task Force arrested Roderick Taylor, 24, of suburban Lake Worth. Boynton Beach police said he is one of two people involved in the attack.

Taylor was identified from store surveillance video, according to police. He's charged with attempted first-degree murder with a firearm.

Smith died Monday at Delray Beach Medical Center from her injuries.
