Former FAU professor sues to get job back

Former FAU Professor James Tracy has filed a lawsuit against the university for wrongful termination and violations to his right to free speech.

The suit, first reported by the Palm Beach Post, was filed Monday in federal court.

Tracy wasfired from his positionat the Boca Raton campus after he shared theories the Sandy Hook massacre was staged.

His blog also includes claims the Boston Marathon bombing, a Navy yard shooting and San Bernardino massacre were staged.

Tracy wants to be reinstated to his tenured employment with full restoration of all benefits and lost wages.

He is asking for a jury trial.

"Unfortunately Dr. Tracy is unavailable for comment at this time," said his attorney Louis Leo, IV.

"We do not comment on any pending litigation, and we have yet to be served in this case," an FAU spokesperson said.
