A Palm Beach Zoo spokesperson calls Stacey Konwiser the "Tiger Whisperer."

She got that name because of how well she worked with Tigers at the zoo. She was known as someone who was passionate about her job.

Those who knew Konwiser say she spoke a language only tigers could understand.

Stacey was the primary tiger and koala keeper for at least 3 years at the Palm Beach Zoo.

That love for animals was shared by her husband Jeremy. Both were keepers at the zoo.

The Palm Beach Zoo's Facebook page says Stacey graduated from Mount Holyoke College with a bachelor's degree in conservation biology, receiving her masters in Australia.

She met her husband Jeremy working at the Living Desert Zoo in Palm Desert, California.

They moved to West Palm Beach together.

There's an outpouring support on social media. Hundred's of people sending their prayers to family and friends.

A zoo spokesperson says grief counselors will be on hand for staff.
