A 54-year-old man is dead after being found floating in a residential pool Saturday.
The incident happened at 316 East Lake Drive in Palm Springs.
The victim, James Roger Smith, was found floating in the pool by his wife. He was last seen alive earlier Saturday evening.
The City of Palm Springs Fire Department went to the scene. Officers started CPR and transported Smith to the hospital where he later died.
