A local food pastry chef took home the top prize in the Food Network's Christmas Cookie Challenge.
Brittani Szczecina is the pastry chef at the Palm Beach Marriott Singer Island Resort & Spa.
The 29-year-old chef won four over bakers in three rounds and she took home not only bragging rights, but also a 10 thousand dollar prize.
Her gingerbread house is on display in the Marriott's lobby.
