Dance Theater of Wellington’s DTX dance team is getting the exciting opportunity to perform in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
The group is being honored by the Village of Wellington in late October.
The dance studio says the girls have been fundraising for months to prepare for the trip. The cost is $2,500 per dancer.
The Florida group plans to see a show on Broadway, watch The Rockettes perform and tour the National September 11 Memorial and Museum while in New York City.
Tens of millions of viewers tune in to watch the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade each year around the country.
