ROYAL PALM BEACH, Fla. -- A fundraiser was held Saturday to help a West Palm Beach woman shot in the face during a robbery two years ago.

The fundraiser happened at the IHOP on State Road 7 in Royal Palm Beach.

The restaurant, where Lyndsey Cooper now works, donated ten percent of their sales for the day to help Lyndsey with her medical bills.

Lindsey said the outpouring of support from the community keeps her going, "You guys are the ones that help me get my surgeries done, without Palm Beach County and without the community and all this I would not have been able to get any surgeries done and I would have made it inside that night that I got shot. So I am beyond words can't even describe how thankful I am."

Donations can also be made on the Lyndsey Cooper medical fund GoFundMe page .
