A suburban West Palm Beach man and a Tampa woman were killed in a single-vehicle wreck early Sunday in Royal Palm Beach.

According to a PBSO report, Jeffrey William Dinatale, 31, of suburban West Palm Beach was driving a 2016 Infiniti Q-50 at 2:42 a.m. westbound on Okeechobee Boulevard near Wildcat Way.

PBSO said it appeared that Dinatale was traveling at a high rate of speed when he lost control of the vehicle and traveled across the westbound lanes of Okeechobee Boulevard,

The car mounted the curb and continued sideways across the sidewalk and grassy area.

As the Infiniti continued to slide sideways across the grass, the car violently collided with a palm tree on the north side of Okeechobee Boulevard and struck the passenger door.

Fire Rescue responded and pronounced Dinatale and his passenger, Andrea Paige Espinola, 25, of Tampa dead at the scene.

Next of kin was notified for both victims.
