There were some scary moments during a Palm Springs armed home invasion and tonight the search is on for three men and a woman responsible for the crime.

We spoke with one of the victims, a 15-year-old boy, after he was questioned by police.

He was too shaken to go on camera but he says he was punched while trying to protect his pregnant mom from the intruders.

Neighbor Albert Gibbs woke up to flashing lights and crime tape just feet from his Almar Road home.

“I feel a little bit shaky about this,” said Gibbs.

He was shaken after finding out a pregnant woman was one of three victims of the home invasion around 10:30 a.m. today. Police say she and another woman were pushed by one of the intruders. Her 15-year-old son was battered.

“This type of situation we don't need here,” said Gibbs.

After breaking into the home the teen says the men stole his mom's cellphone.

“Now that this is happening I'm thinking maybe i should toughen up on security,” said Gibbs.

He's not the only neighbor who's worried.

“We'll probably have to take extra measures security on our house,” said Brianna Glennon, who lives a block away. "The fact that she was a woman pregnant whether she was alone in her house or not is unnerving.”

Police are looking a black man in his thirties about 6 feet with gold teeth and about 150 pounds, twisted hair, wearing a red t-shirt, with a handgun; a second black man is described as being about 29-years-old with short black hair, light skin, 180 pounds; the third suspect is a black man described as 25 to 26-years-old, 6 feet tall, 190 pounds.

Police said they took off with a light-skinned black woman about 25-years-old in a white convertible.
