Two people are recovering from their injuries after a double shooting Sunday in Lake Worth.
Deputies with the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office found a man suffering from a gunshot wound in an alley outside a home on South G Street near 8th Avenue Sunday afternoon. Paramedics rushed him to a hospital.
A short time later a woman who said she was shot at the same location showed up at an emergency room.
According to the sheriff’s office, the male victim is talking and the injuries appear to be non-life threatening. But a spokesperson said the victim is not cooperating of deputies.
The sheriff’s office’s violent crimes unit will lead this investigation. As of Sunday evening, the agency did not know what led to the shooting or who might be responsible.
