It was a special night in CityPlace for one West Palm Beach 7-year-old.

Brady Treu was diagnosed with a rare blood disorder a few years ago, and was locked in the fight for his life.

With treatments and transplants over the last few years, he's been able to fight the disease off.

Saturday night, the Make-A-Wish foundation granted him an opportunity every kid dreams of; becoming a Jedi.

That role of hero was one Brady has been training for all his life.

Indeed, the force is strong with this one.

With cancer nearly vanquished, it’s on to his next fight, the Galactic Empire.

After some training, Brady mastered the ways of the force with light speed.

It was skill that he needed, with the challenge that lay ahead,  a showdown at CityPlace.

With a whole community watching, Brady came face to face with Darth Vader.

However, neither cancer nor Vader were a match for the new Jedi as he was able to take him down.

With the empire defeated, he's on to a new mission.

“I'm going to train people to be a Jedi for free,” Brady said.

The heart that the 7-year-old has shown however, no matter the battle, is something you just can't teach

“He's victorious in pretty much every way possible,” Brady’s dad Brent says. “So as a parent, there's nothing you can be more proud of.”
