A U.S. Navy sailor based in Atsugi base west of Tokyo was arrested for entering a Japanese apartment illegally.
Police said Nathaniel Williams was suspected of trespassing the housing unit in Ebina, Kanagawa Prefecture on Saturday.
When a resident went to the restroom at 5 a.m., he heard somebody taking a shower.
Then Williams reportedly appeared naked.
The resident called police and the 27-year-old was handed over.
Williams was found drunk, and he admitted to the charge.
