A 6-year-old boy drowns during a Caribbean cruise onboard the Carnival Cruise ship Victory.
Police say he was in the pool with his 10-year-old brother on Sunday.
Investigators say passengers pulled the boy from the water when they noticed he was submerged and tried to resuscitate him.
Carnival says it happened while the ship was on the last leg of a four-day Caribbean cruise.
Police say the family is from Central Florida. They say the drowning appears to be accidental and no foul play is suspected.
Carnival released a statement which read, in part: Carnival extends its heartfelt sympathy to the family during this very difficult time. The company's CareTeam is providing assistance and support.
