BELLE GLADE, Fla. - Farmers at Hundley Farms continue to watch crops into Thursday morning as freezing temperatures warm up.
Farmers had several helicopters on standby to hover over crops to circulate wind to prevent frosting.
So far, only 18 acres of string beans were damaged from last weeks Arctic blast.
Farmers said winds from Lake Okeechobee helped keep temperatures above 40 degrees to prevent further damage to crops.
They will continue to monitor the situation going into Thursday evening when temperatures are expected to drop again.
