Three women charged for solicitation in Port St. Lucie

 Two Port St. Lucie women and one from Fort Pierce have been charged with soliciting for prostitution, according to Port St. Lucie police.

Officers with the department's Special Investigations Division called the women Thursday night at cellphone numbers listed in classified ads posted on, according to arrest affidavits.

They negotiated a price for services and then had the women meet them in the 2000 block of Northwest Courtyard Circle, where they were arrested, the affidavits said.

Colleen Ann McCarthy, 31, who lives in the 300 block of Bay Street in Port St. Lucie, who also was charged with possession of a controlled substance — the painkiller hydromorphone — without a prescription, remained Friday in the St. Lucie County Jail in lieu of $15,375 bond, records show.

Stephanie Laurie Compton, 19, who lives in the 500 block of South Ninth Street in Fort Pierce, was released from the jail Friday morning after posting a $375 bond, records show.

Tia Trunnell Gonzalez, 35, who lives in the 5800 block of Northwest Treehouse Court in Port St. Lucie, remained jailed Friday in lieu of $375 bond, they show.
