William Wink cleared of all charges stemming from 2012 incident

William Wink, a former candidate for St. Lucie County Property Appraiser, was cleared of all charges stemming from an April 2012 incident in which he was initially charged with aggrivated assault.

He was accused of throwing an orange at a construction worker from a 7th-story balcony on South Ocean Drive in Fort Pierce.

At the time of his arrest, Wink told police he did not throw the orange maliciously and was just trying to get rid of it.

In April of 2013, a judge sealed and expunged all records related to the case. No charges were filed and Wink was not convicted of any crime.
