SUBURBAN BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. -- A 70-year-old man has died from injuries he sustained in a crash near Boynton Beach.
On Thursday, Feb. 7, Nathan Nager of Boynton Beach was driving on Country Road in the village of Golf near Boynton Beach at 11:37 a.m.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office says Nager appeared to have a medical issue, turned his wheel and began to rapidly accelerate into vegetation and into a drainage canal which contained water.
As his vehicle entered the canal it overturned and came to final rest on its roof.
Nagal was pulled from the canal by responding deputies and was transported to Delray Medical Center by Palm Beach County Fire Rescue crews.
Nathan Nager died of his injuries and complications from the crash on Saturday, Feb. 9 at 8:44 p.m.
