T-Mobile Robbery: Georges Richardson, Travas Byrd, Allen Eugene, Clinton Johnson charged

Victims were pepper-sprayed and locked in room

BOCA RATON, Fla. - All four suspects involved in a T-Mobile robbery are now in police custody.

On December 2, 2012, four armed gunmen robbed the T-Mobile store located at 2301 West Glades Road in Boca Raton.

According to Officer Sandra Boonenberg, spokeswoman for the Boca Raton Police Department, the gunmen handcuffed and pepper sprayed two store employees and a customer and locked them in a rear storage area. The suspects then fled with cash and cell phones.

The victims were treated and released from the Boca Raton Regional Hospital.

Store surveillance showed vivid images of the four suspects who participated in the robbery.

Through tips from Crime Stoppers and the help of detectives with the Broward Sheriff's Office Robbery Unit, Boca Raton detectives were able to identify the four suspects: Georges Richardson, 21, Travas Byrd, 31, Allen Eugene, 21, and Clinton Johnson, 22.

All four suspects are from Pompano Beach.

Detectives have charged Byrd, Eugene, and Johnson with robbery with a firearm and kidnapping. Richardson is being charged as a principal in the first degree of armed robbery and kidnapping.

Boonenberg says the investigation is on-going and further charges may be forthcoming.
