Chip Buck charged with stealing iPhones from Starbucks

BOCA RATON, Fla. - Chip Buck has been arrested by the Boca Raton Police on charges that he stole iPhones from customers sitting outside at Starbucks.

Boca police, in the arrest report, say that over the past month there have been two robberies at the Starbucks at 2200 West Glades Road and one at the Starbucks  at 2521 West Glades Road. The victims, according to police, were sitting outside and had their iPhones on the table.

Buck told investigators that he met another patient at the New Beginnings rehab center in Delray Beach where they both learned about stealing iPhones for drug money from a fellow rehab patient.

Buck told investigators that they would take turns walking around a Starbucks table until they saw a phone.

Buck faces charges of grand theft, conspiracy and robbery.
