'Pillowcase' burglary suspects in custody: Martin County Sheriff's Office arrests two Homestead men

The Martin County Sheriff's Office says it has taken two suspected 'pillowcase burglars' into custody.

23-year-old Lbee Jonah Evans, and 21-year-old Emil Solomon Porter, from Homestead have been charged with with Burglary of an Occupied Structure.

The sheriff's office says they broke into a home in Canoe Creek in Palm City.

According to the sheriff's office, homeowners saw the men leap from a back window. At that point they called for help and described the suspects' car.

A short time later officials made a traffic stop and arrested the suspects.

Investigators say there might be a third person and are searching both Crane Creek and Canoe Creek in Palm City.
