45th Street Flea Market vendors concerned about crime
WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - West Palm Beach Mayor Jeri Muoio says she'll meet later this month with merchants at the 45th Street Flea Market.
There have been complaints the area is a magnet for crime.
The market has been the scene of a handful of shootings.
On September 28th one person was killed and another wounded.
In October, a 20-year-old man who was shot while shopping at the flea market filed a lawsuit against the owners of the business.
According to the city, the property straddles West Palm Beach and Mangonia Park.
The city says the meeting is scheduled for January 27th.
