Mario Dipietrantonio charged with making a bomb threat at SunFest

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - On May 3rd 2013 West Palm Beach police said they received a call that there was a bomb in one of the restrooms at SunFest.

Police say the caller was threatening the safety of the people who had gone to the annual event on Flagler Drive.

Investigators say that they were able to link Mario Dipietrantonio to the threat.

Police say that two people who know Dipietrantonio both listened to the recorded threat and were able to identify him.

Dipietrantonio was arrested by the police and charged with reporting a false report about planting a bomb or explosive.

He's been booked into the Palm Beach County Jail.
