Jamal Hammadh charged with selling counterfeit Vuitton, Gucci, Fendi and Polo products

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - Premium brand name products were being offered at discount prices at Casa Blanca Fashions at the 45th St Flea Market.

West Palm Beach police say that customers were able to get products with Gucci, Fendi, Louis Vuitton and Polo logos at below market prices because the products were counterfeit.

Investigators say that officers made purchases at Casa Blanca Fashions several times for the past few months.

Officers determined that the products they bought had counterfeit trademarks.

The owner of the store Jamal Hammadh told officers that when they were executing a search warrant that he had no idea that he was selling illegal merchandise and cooperated with investigators.

Police say they confiscated $117,000 worth of counterfeit merchandise at the flea market store.

Police arrested Hammadh for the sale of counterfeit products and booked him into the Palm Beach County Jail .

Hammadh has since been released on bond.
