Diane Robinson, Jessica Rampersadsingh: Charged with the 2012 death of Patricia Kohler

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - Two women remain in custody after being charged with starving a family member to death.

A Palm Beach Grand Jury issued an indictment on Thursday against Diane Robinson and Jessica Rampersadsingh in connection with the death of Patricia Kohler.

Back in September 2012, Palm Beach County Sheriff's deputies were called to the 4300 block of Forest Road in unincorporated West Palm Beach for a death investigation.

Investigators said that Robinson Kohler's daughter and Rampersadsingh Kohler's granddaughter locked the victim in her room for days and weeks and did not give her food or proper nutrition.

According to PBSO, Kohler's health was deteriorated and her finances had dwindled to little or nothing. Deputies said that Kohler weighed 59 pounds when she died.
