Man stabbed by girlfriend outside of a Royal Palm Beach Publix

ROYAL PALM BEACH, Fla. - A man was stabbed by his girlfriend after an argument outside a Publix in Royal Palm Beach on Wednesday afternoon, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office.

At 2:28 p.m., rescue crews arrived at the 1100 block of Royal Palm Beach Boulevard and found the victim.

"I saw so many ambulances coming in here, like ten of them, and I come from my store because my shop is right here, and I saw a lady, screaming and everything..." said business owner Hasan Kurumlu.

The stabbing victim was transported to St. Mary's Medical Center by Trauma Hawk where he underwent surgery.

The sheriff's office says there was a heated verbal fight just before the stabbing and deputies arrested Alexandria S. Thomas for aggravated domestic battery.

The victim has not yet been identified and his condition has not been released.
