8 undocumented Haitian migrants in custody after coming ashore on Palm Beach

PALM BEACH, Fla. - Eight undocumented migrants are in custody after they came ashore on Palm Beach early Friday morning.

At 5:33 a.m., Palm Beach police said they received a call from a Palm Beach Post delivery person that there were three suspicious people walking near 900 N Lake Way.

After they arrived at the location, police said they found eight Haitian nationals, who were later turned over to Border Patrol.

A boat, which has a Bahamian registry, was found beached near Ocean Lane close to the Palm Beach Country Club.

Police are no longer searching for anyone else.
