David Williams' car gets swallowed by a sinkhole in Bakersville, California

David Williams of Bakersville, California said his dad called him around 5:30 Friday morning and told him his car had been swallowed by a sinkhole.

Emergency crews responded and found a deteriorating sewer line that caused the asphalt to collapse over time.

Crews managed to pull the Cadillac out of the sinkhole  and Williams said he's heart broken.

He hopes the city of Bakersville will fix it.

"I'm sad that was my baby, I don't know what to do now," said Williams.
The sinkhole did not cause damage to any other vehicles or homes.
