The Captain & Tennille to divorce, report says

"Love Will Keep Us Together," was the first big hit of the duo Captain & Tennille. But after 39 years of marriage the 70s singing duo are getting a divorce.

A report from People Magazine says 'Toni Tennille, whose real name is Cathryn Antoinette Tennille, 73, filed for divorce on Jan. 16, the Prescott, Arizona City courthouse confirms to PEOPLE.'

Daryl Frank Dragon was a keyboard player, known as The Captain in the successful 1970s pop musical duo Captain & Tennille.

Their first album was released in 1974, winning a Grammy the following year.

The couple have no children.
