George Watsky jump video: Rapper remorseful over dangerous jump from lighting rig above stage

George Watsky is a very talented young rapper who did a very dangerous and stupid thing while performing at a concert in London on Sunday.

During his finale while his band played below him, Watsky climbed the ladder hanging from the lighting rig above the stage and jumped into the crowd.

Stage dives are nothing new, but the lighting rig was perhaps a good 30 feet above the floor of the concert venue.

Watsky was taken to a local hospital and was released with only bruising.

But two people in the audience weren't so lucky.

The fall resulted in a broken arm for a woman and a man suffered bruising, according to a statement by Watsky posted on his Facebook page.

Watsky posted an apology after leaving the hospital where he visited with the injured fans.

Watsky was remorseful in the statement, explaining, "The jump was not awesome, it was not badass, and it was not ballsy. It turned what should have been a great day for the people who got hurt into a nightmare. It was stupid and wildly irresponsible, plain and simple."
