Tropical Depression Eight forms in the Atlantic

The eighth tropical depression of the season forms way out in the Atlantic.  The depression is expected to strengthen into Tropical Storm Gordon over the next day.  It is no threat to land and the forecast track re-curves it in a few days, keeping it out over the open ocean.
