Tropical Depression Erin is in the middle of the Atlantic, not impacting any land masses. It'll stay over the open waters, and it will fade away by midweek next week.
Currently, it has maximum sustained winds of 35 MPH... Just under tropical storm criteria. It's drifting to the WNW at 15 MPH, and again, it will stay over the open Atlantic. It will not impact any land masses before it fades away next week.
Any other tropical mischief? Yup. An area of low pressure in the central Gulf that is slowly drifting toward Texas, and it's catching our eye. However, it too will not impact us. The chance of it developing into a tropical system is about 0%.
