Tropical Storm Isaac: All Palm Beach County, Okeechobee County schools closed Monday

All Palm Beach County and Okeechobee County public schools will be closed Monday, August 27, School district officials have announced.

The Indian River County Board of County Commissioners Department of Emergency Services said Indian River County schools will be open Monday.

St. Lucie County, Martin County and Okeechobee County schools will all be open on Monday.

Florida Atlantic University has canceled classes at all campuses for Monday, August 27, due to the effects of Tropical Storm Isaac. Only essential personnel are required at respective locations. Dining halls on the Boca Raton and Jupiter campuses will be operating regular hours for residential students and essential personnel on Sunday and Monday, the school said in a written release.

All Northwood University classes will remain scheduled and offices will remain open tomorrow (Monday, August 27, 2012).

According to its website, Palm Beach State College is scheduled to be operating as usual on Monday, August  27.
