We all felt the heat today... There was absolutely no escaping it as highs crept into the 90s. Something else you noticed was the lack of afternoon thunderstorms. I can assure you the heat will remain for the next couple of days, and those summer-time storms will soon make a comeback.
So the forecast for tonight calls for overnight lows in the 70s. It will remain dry, but thanks to the nasty humidity, it will be very muggy.
Tomorrow through Friday we'll have partly to mostly cloudy skies with better rain prospects as an unusual late season cold front approaches from the north. A few storms could be strong, so that's something we will have to keep an eye on for you.
Of course your highs will still be around 90 degrees.
Our weather starts to improve just in time for the weekend. Saturday and Sunday will be partly sunny with highs in the low to mid 90s. Isolated inland showers and a few thunderstorms are possible both days.
