Heavy rain and a few strong storms

Some very heavy rainfall and a few strong storms are possible this afternoon here in South Florida, as numerous showers and thunderstorms develop and move toward the east.  High temperatures will reach the low 90s but it will continue to feel hotter with the humidity.  Mostly cloudy to overcast skies and light winds out of the southwest.

Tonight, evening thunderstorms will slowly dissipate leaving only a chance for isolated overnight rain. Lows in the 70s, partly cloudy, light winds out of the southwest.

Thursday, numerous showers and thunderstorms possible during the afternoon.  Increasing clouds from late morning through the afternoon.  Highs in the low 90s, light winds out of the south/southeast.

Friday and Saturday, partly sunny with isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms possible.  Highs in the low 90s.

Sunday, partly to mostly cloudy with scattered showers and thunderstorms possible.  Highs in the low 90s.

Monday, mostly cloudy with scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms possible.  Highs around 90 degrees.

Tuesday, partly to mostly cloudy with scattered showers and thunderstorms possible.  Highs around 90 degrees.
