Scattered rain heading into the weekend

Scattered showers and thunderstorms are possible through the afternoon and evening hours here in South Florida.  Rainfall will drift slowly from southwest to northeast and some of it could be heavy.  High temperatures will reach the low 90s but it will feel hotter with the humidity.  Clouds will increase through the afternoon and winds will stay light out of the south/southeast.

Tonight, evening thunderstorms will come to an end, then isolated overnight coastal rainfall will be possible. Lows in the 70s under partly cloudy skies. Light winds out of the southeast.

Saturday, partly to mostly cloudy with scattered showers and thunderstorms possible.  Highs in the low 90s and light winds out of the southeast.

Sunday, mostly to partly sunny with highs in the low to mid 90s.  Low chances for rain with only isolated showers and thunderstorms possible.

Monday and Tuesday, partly sunny with scattered showers and thunderstorms possible.  Highs in the low 90s.

Wednesday and Thursday, partly to mostly cloudy with scattered showers and thunderstorms possible.  Highs in the upper 80s and low 90s.
