Rain has been a huge issue for us this "dry" season, but it won't be for the next seven days. The forecast for this week will actually be one of the best we've seen all season.
At the moment we are sandwiched in between a low pressure to our east and a high pressure to our west. That gives us a dominate wind from the northwest which helps usher in very dry air.
That will do a few things for us:
1. Dry air likes to cool off nicely and warm up quickly, so large temperature swings are expected this week.
2. Dry air will limit the rain we see over the next week; Wednesday is the only day we could see showers.
3. Dry air will help clear out the skies and give us more sunshine; sunny skies are expected all week.
So when we put all this together we end up getting a really nice forecast. This weekend will be gorgeous... Nice, sunny, and warm. Winds will be fairly calm too so it'll be a great weekend to get on the boat.
The picture perfect weather then carries into next week. Almost everyday will look like a postcard and you'll have nothing to worry about. I say "almost" though because a small disturbance will push over South Florida late Wednesday and that will give us some showers and storms.
There's absolutely nothing to worry about with the disturbance on Wednesday, it'll only bring us periods of heavy rain. Other than that fly in the proverbial ointment... The week looks awesome!
