Abandoned Speed boat at Juno pier

As the winds subsided from Tropical Storm Fay on Tuesday, beach residents and surfers found a speed boat equipped with 3 large out board engines near Juno Pier.
It appeared as though the operators of the vessel launched it onto the beach to avoid the large surf and rough conditions, then anchored it as best they could into sand.
The police think otherwise. The local police this may have to do with an illegal alien smuggling ring from Grand Bahamas, where the boat is registered.
