What a way to start the preseason opener.  Rain, rain, rain and then at game time, clear skies and the most magnificant double rainbow off in the sky to the east.  Starting only 15 minutes later than scheduled, the hawks came out Friday night and made their presence known to West Boca by scoring in the first 7 minutes of the first quarter.  West Boca couldn't get in for a touchdowm and had to settle for a field goal to get them on the board with 3.  The Hawks had a strong offense scoring 3 touchdowns.  The defense did their job all night up to the 4 quarter when West Boca snuck in for a touchdown but missed the extra point.  The final score was 21 to 9.  Keep your eyes on the Hawks, they are going somewhere this season.
