BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. -- Florida Highway Patrol says 8 people were transported to local hospitals after a rollover crash on the Florida Turnpike Saturday.
One of the patients was transported to a trauma center.
The accident happened on the northbound side of the Florida Turnpike near Atlantic Avenue in Delray Beach.
Two northbound lanes were shut down as delays backed up for miles.
There is no word yet on the cause of the crash.
