World Cup: American-German Club of the Palm Beaches hosts USA-Germany watch party

LAKE WORTH, Fla. - There are several places to watch today's World Cup game between the United States and Germany, but one of the most unique spots may be in Lake Worth.

The American-German Club of the Palm Beaches is hosting a watch party for the game that kicks off at noon.

The club, located at 5111 Lantana Road, will show the game on a projector screen.

Members say they are expecting a full house. They will serve food and there will be a cash bar with both American and German beer.

Members don't have to be German, but many are so it's expected to be a house divided for the game.

"On Saturday everyone, was rooting on the German side and on Sunday everyone was rooting on the American side, so I think it's still going to be a coin toss," says club president Kurt Freiter.

The club is in its 47th year of existence. For more information click here.
