MIAMI, Fla. - The Heat's chance to win the NBA Finals at home will start at 9 p.m.
The feeling around the arena is urgent, as fans want to see their team win on their home court.
Fans gathered early in front of the arena for game 5.
"I had to be here," said Denis Joseph of Miami. "I don't want the Thunder to take control."
There's a feeling that this would be a big measure of redemption for South Florida, the Heat fans and their superstar LeBron James.
He's taken a lot of "Heat" for the way he announced his decision to come to South Florida.
"He's going to silence them tonight," said Joseph. He painted his fan with the words, "the LeBron haters are on life support."
"(We think) he did the right thing by choosing the right team to win a championship," said Joseph.
"Everyone's got it in their mind that tonight's the night," said Matthew Hopkins, who flew all the way from Minneapolis to see the game in person.
Several hours before the game, tickets were being sold on the auction site stubhub.com for between $270 for standing room and $20,000 for court side seats.
