One of Palm Beach County's most underappreciated receivers is headed for a much higher profile football situation.
Santaluces wideout Darrell Langham made it official to Al Golden and Miami on Wednesday, staying firm on a commitment he made in early June.
Often overshadowed by Dwyer's Johnnie Dixon and Cardinal Newman's Travis Rudolph, Langham is a massive target at 6-5, 200 lbs. and was No. 6 on ESPN 106.3's Top 63 Seniors list. He didn't provide any drama heading into the fall, repeatedly reinforcing his commitment any time he was asked if the upcoming NCAA sanctions would alter his pledge to UM. His response to that question at ESPN 106.3s Top 63 party?
"I'm a Cane."
Langham helped lead Santaluces to a surprising 6-4 record with near upsets of Vero Beach, Park Vista, and Seminole Ridge.
