Richie Incognito vandalized his own Ferrari at Scottsdale home, report says


SCOTTSDALE, AZ - Richie Incognito, of the Miami Dolphins, damaged his own Ferrari with a baseball bat in front of his Scottsdale home Wednesday, according to a TMZ report.

A baseball bat was seen next to Incognito’s black Ferrari with a piece of the wooden bat stuck inside the grill of the vehicle, the report says.

The report says neighbors first noticed the damage to the vehicle Wednesday afternoon.

TMZ first reported that someone may have damaged Incognito's car. They later wrote that Incognito admitted to doing it himself, according to Scottsdale police.

The Miami Herald received a statement from police which details what patrol officers found when they went to investigated the damaged vehicle.

Incognito, an offensive lineman for the Miami Dolphins, was named in a February NFL report listing numerous incidents of alleged harassment of fellow Dolphins players and staff.

He will become an unrestricted free agent in March 2014.
