High school football coach Wayne Monroe back with team after injury

Wayne Monroe is back doing what he loves, coaching football and teaching young people.

Monroe serves as the dean at John I. Leonard HS, he also is the head coach of the football team.

Earlier this school year he shattered his elbow and suffered a concussion when he fell from a fence trying to chase students skipping class.

The injuries caused him to miss the first six weeks of the season, but now he's back on the field with his team getting ready to compete for a playoff spot.
