Jupiter, Fla. -- It's been almost a year since baseball legend and Palm Beach Gardens resident Gary Carter died of brain cancer.
However, his legacy of giving back continues through the foundation and golf tournament which bare his name.
The 27th annual Gary Carter Golf Classic was held Monday at Trump National Golf Club at the Ritz-Carlton. Proceeds from the tournament go to the Gary Carter Foundation and the Autism Project of Palm Beach County (APPBC).
Many have said that this could mark the final year of the golf tournament.
ESPN 760's Emerson Lotzia caught up with Sandy Carter, Gary's wife, to see what the future holds for the tournament and the foundation.
