WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. -- Two nights after attending the Lou Groza Award banquet at the Kravis Center in West Palm Beach, Florida, FSU's Roberto Aguayo is taking home the award which goes to the top kicker in college football.
The redshirt freshman converted all 90 extra point attempts for the undefeated Seminoles this season. He kicked 19-of-20 field goal attempts and accounted for 131 total points.
Aguayo was one of three finalists for the award. He beat out Texas' Anthony Fera and USF's Marvin Kloss for the honor.
