MIAMI (AP) -- Dwyane Wade does get dunked on. Just not very often.
The Miami Heat guard is closing in on setting an NBA record for blocked shots in a career by a player who stands no more than 6-foot-4. He enters Saturday's game against the Boston Celtics with 671, four fewer than Dennis Johnson had in his career.
Wade says he takes pride in his shotblocking, especially when he can reject shots by much bigger opponents at the rim -- something that's happened plenty of times in his career.
Wade has 1,193 steals to go along with the blocks in his career. Starting from when he entered the league, four players have more steals and 32 have more blocks, but no one has more of both.
