MIAMI (AP) -- The Miami Heat get more rings. The Chicago Bulls get their MVP back.
By any measure, the Heat and Bulls have been waiting for Tuesday night for some time.
The first spotlight game of the new NBA season takes place in Miami, when the Heat and Bulls -- easily one of the best rivalries in the league -- square off on a night where Miami will raise another title banner and Commissioner David Stern oversees such a ceremony for the final time before his retirement.
It'll be Derrick Rose's first real game since tearing up his left knee in April 2012. LeBron James, who has won four of the last five MVP awards, says he wants to take a moment and welcome Rose back.
