What a difference a few hours makes on Paradise Island near Nassau in the Bahamas.
Earlier today guests had to bunker down in their rooms.
Now, the worst has passed and winds have died down.
It’s still unclear what kind of damage the storm did to the island chain.
Most of Nassau does not have electricity and the hotel at Atlantis is on a generator.
Assessment teams will be going out Thursday evening trying to get an idea of exactly what kind of damage there is.
Some tiles came off roofs near the Atlantis resort.
On hotel property a balcony railing fell down.
