Chinese landslide buries at least 30 people in Dujiangyan city

(CNN) -- A rain-triggered landslide buried between 30 and 40 people Wednesday in southwest China, the state-run Xinhua news agency reported.

The landslide took place in Sichuan province's Dujiangyan city, fire officials said, according to Xinhua.

Rescuers have arrived at the scene.
